The “classic” face-lift rejuvenates the face by targeting the temples, cheeks and neck. The forehead and eyebrows may also be lifted at the same time, and the procedure may also be combined with blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery.
Typically a short scar facelift is used for patients. Scars are minimal and involve only the front of the ear and temple regions as opposed to “classic” facelifts which also require a large incision behind the ear. Thus, the amount of scarring is much less. Liposuction is also done at the same time under the chin to provide a more youthful contour to the face and neck regions.
